Spend more to get more. I would not recommend this carrier for any serious use. It is a cheap carrier in cost and value...
The straps are only lightly padded and the baby#039s weight will be concentrated on mom or dad#039s shoulders rather than spread out evenly. This carrier does face in or out, however when the baby is facing outward their legs will be dangling straight down which stresses their hip joint and it puts all of their weight on their crotch.
It is straight forward to use, however I think most parents will find its use quite limited to short trips while the baby is small. For the same price you would get much better value with a ring sling that can be used from birth until the toddler years when your child gets to heavy to carry at all.

Nice. The carrier is comfortable for a 6-month girls. It#039s relatively easy to put on/take off.

It#039s a Hit. I purchased this items as a baby shower gift for my grand daughter who will be born in a few month. It#039s a little early to tell how it will work for the baby, but both mom and dad were thrilled with it. They said it is very easy to put on and adjusts to a Soldier#039s broad chest. The best part is it was shipped to Germany via an APO address and arrived in 7 days which amazed me. Even choosing the free shopping it arrived in time for the baby shower. Amazing!

Excellent price/durable and comfortable for baby/easy for mom. I love this carrier. It costs far less than some others and it really does the job well. I put my baby in it to go outside. I water my rose bushes, etc. It#039s good for inside as well. I can fold clothes and do other jobs while she#039s in her Snugli. My baby is 11 pounds now and the Snugli is set in the smaller position. It adjusts a size up to accommodate a bigger baby. I have been using the Snugli for a month now with my baby facing me. She is 2 1/2 months old now. It supports her head well as she is facing in. When she is a little older, I will put her in it facing out. This review is for the Snugli Hug. Snugli makes other carriers but this is the only one I have used so far.

On the go grandma. I love this back pack. I bought it for myself and my seven month old grandson. It is so light and easy to put on your back. I had one just like it when my kids were little. It doesn#039t have a waist belt but I don#039t find that I need one. The only negative thing I can say is the harness for the child is somewhat difficult to get to otherwise its the best .

Love this carrier!. I bought this for my son to have for his now ten month old daughter. He is very pleased with it. I had one for him, when he was a baby and I liked it so much, I was pleased to find they still make them. The quality is so much better now than in the seventies! A real life saver for everything from the grocery store to flea markets.

Very nice effordable and userfriendly. As a single dad , I should say this, this carrier gives an incredible freedom in the house. I can work on garden, dishes, laundry and I can carry her with me everywhere...

it has a shoulder straps but this style doesnt come with a belt holster or strap. I want to hobby lobby and get a strap for this one ...

Excellent. I purchased this for my 18 old month daughter. She weighs around 20 lbs right now, so I figure this carrier will still be used a lot. She loves to be in the carrier. She actually cries when I put the carrier away. It is very comfortable to carry my daughter in it. If you do not want to carry a stroller everywhere you go, this is a very light way to transport your kid. This is perfect for trips to the zoo, shopping, and even hikes! I love it.

Super comfortable!. I love my kokopax city carrier. I am a mom of 3. My two youngest are 2 and 5 months. I have a couple of pouch slings, but those aren#039t practical for cooking, housework, or other things that require both arms to be free. We have multiple strollers, one of which includes a double side by side stroller that we love, however, it#039s not always practical to use a stroller. Take for example, the trips I was making to the grocery store prior to getting the Kokopax. My older son would be on the seat in the cart and my infant would be in his car seat taking up the entire cart space. I#039d have to pile groceries underneath the cart. Or, trips to the park with my 2 year old who wants to run everywhere. Dragging a stroller through the sand/tanbark was horrible, and holding the baby in my arms or in the sling wasn#039t practical because I often need my hands/arms to help my son around the playground and getting in and out of those bucket swings. I really didn#039t want a hiking backpack because I just don#039t need all of those darn straps, pockets, zippers, etc. The things I love the Kokopax City Carrier are:

no waist strap
minimal pockets (just one that the straps feed into. Also good for maybe 1 diaper, keys)

baby is comfortable
I#039ve had many mothers either looking at it or coming up to me asking where I got it. I use it nearly every day.
My only complaint is that the fabric covering the padding on the lumbar support seems to be rubbing on my clothing and it is wrecking some of my clothing. This happened the very first time I used it. My daughter came up and asked what was all over the lumbar padding. I have one of those nylon, super stretchy tank tops that I wear under some t-shirts because I like the length and the layered look, but it really messed that tank top up in the spot where it rests against the Kokopax. It is pilling nearly all of my clothing. The padding now has multiple colors of pills from the various shirts that I have worn with it. If I didn#039t LOVE this carrier so much, that would have turned me away from the product. There has got to be a different fabric that can be used that won#039t do this to clothing when there is friction. Because I love the carrier, I am going to try and find a way to cover that pad with another material. Maybe one that is less coarse.

Fantastic Baby Carrier. I would highly recommend this baby carrier, particularly to anyone who is on the petite side. My son and I have both enjoyed this carrier immensely, and although now that he is six months old and doesn#039t use it as much as the first few months, it still comes in very handy. The carrier is extremely comfortable and I never had any back pain even when I used it for more than an hour at a time. My son slept very peacefully and was held very securely when I did housework, bending down to load the dishwasher, cooking, etc. It is very easy to put the baby in and take him/her out, and also to adjust the straps when the baby is in it. We found it very convenient to use going through airport security, as we could load and unload the baby quickly and easily, and with no metal parts I sailed through the security check. The small infant insert made it useful from just after he was born through now (almost 20 lbs), but I have not yet used it as a backpack, which it can do as the child gets older. It is also nice to know that the fabric is organic considering that my son spent many hours with his face firmly planted against it! Lastly, I like the panther design, it is cute and totally unisex.

So Easy!. I love my Beco Butterfly! I only wish I had purchased one sooner! It has great support. It makes it simple to carry a baby (or toddler) as long as you need to. I have carried both my infant son in it and my 35 lb. 2 year old! I call it the "nap maker" since my 2 year old falls asleep every time he rides in it! This carrier fits me and my husband! It is pretty simple to use and mine came with an instructional DVD. I get so many compliments on my Beco! My Beco definitely gets much more use than my stroller! (In fact, my stroller sits in my garage collecting dust.) It is definitely worth the money spent on it!

My Newborn loves it. This carrier is perfect for both me and my husband. Our daughter loves being held in the front position and falls asleep almost immediately once we strap her in. The Beco is easy to use, comfortable to wear, and our daughter is securely held in it. Best of all it came with the infant insert and isn#039t super bulky like some of the other carriers available out there.

Amazing when i see this Balboa Baby Shopping Cart Cover-Lola (by Balboa Baby) :

Pretty and Serves Purpose. The print of this cover is gorgeous. It is not to frilly and not too loud. It fits highchairs in restaurants great. It is a little tight for today#039s oversize shopping carts (this 4 vs 5 stars), but you can make it work on most of the carts if you are not concerned with the back necessarily being over the shopping cart seat. It does what it is supposed to do, provides a barrier against potentially germy plastic carts or restaurant high chairs. It folds into itself, which is super convenient too. All in all, I have been using this product for about 5 months, and I have no major complaints.

Almost Perfect. Overall I like the design, however, I wish it were a little larger. I really have to do some finagling to make it fit over the seat of the (slightly larger) carts at my local grocery store. Also, it took a few tries for me to be able to put the cover on quickly, but I got the hang of it eventually.
I especially like the inclusion of the toy loops and "seat belt" - the ones attached to the cart are always either broken or grimy. I appreciate the fact that it neatly (and easily) folds into a little pouch between uses.
Honestly, the real reason that I sprung for this cover was because I liked the pattern and had an Amazon gift certificate, which covered about half the cost. This product is only worth full price if it actually fits on the carts at your store, so keep that in mind.

Functional, fashionable cover. Bought this cover with reservations since I wasn#039t sure I#039d want to bring yet another item along with me into the grocery store. But I#039ve had it for over a month now, and have been using it every time I go shopping. I like the fact that it fits well and covers everything around the seat including the cart handle, and it uses it#039s own built in straps, since my son will try to suck/gnaw on both. I just keep it in the car and grab it when we go into the store or a restaurant. Love that it folds into it#039s own built in, compact closable pouch (with a wrist strap-a simple yet key feature!). It#039s also well constructed and has pretty fabric design. Have gotten lots of compliments on it. So far it#039s been very functional, BUT only for 1 seater shopping carts (this will not fit Costco sized or extra wide carts). It#039s worked great in the stores I shop who have standard carts, including Target#039s slightly deeper carts, Safeway, WalMart and Lowes. My son enjoys sitting in it-seems comfy, and there is one loop to secure a toy or two from. Because it#039s designed to have a fairly tailored fit, it can be tricky at first to put on (the cart#039s "backrest" sometimes gets pulled forward by the cover#039s strong elastic, making it tough to keep open while putting baby in), but the more I use it, the better/faster I#039m getting at it. This cover also works great for restaurant high chairs. My only real gripe-it#039s pricey this would be one item I#039d recommend you put on your baby shower registry so your friends/relatives can be the ones to pay the high pricetag!

Great product - little complicated - holds 25 lb baby ok!. I really have enjoyed using this carrier thus far. It#039s a little complicated to get on and move your child to your back, which is specifically what I bought it for. I like the shoulder straps in that they seem less cumbersome than the Ergo Baby I had tried. With a 25 lb baby on my back, he seems like he enjoyes it ok, it just come up very far on his back. Getting on and off has it#039s challenges, but it may just take me more time to get used. I am surised at the cost of $139.00 and not sure I got all the value I would like from it, but would recommend it to others that are looking for a soft carrier to carry a larger toddler on their back (without a frame). Good luck - I hope you like it!

MUCH better than Bjorn for larger babies!. My son was 15 pounds at 4 months and carrying him in the Bjorn was a virtual impossibility. After five minutes of wearing it, my back and shoulders were killing me. I researched Beco and Ergo and decided on the Beco Aiden. I could not have made a better choice! My son#039s weight (now 20 pounds) is distributed between my shoulders and waist and I can carry him for extended periods of time without pain. I LOVE this carrier it#039s well worth the cost!

Best way to carry your baby!. My son can spend hours in the Beco. It is soft and hugs his body beautifully. He is super happy to rest his head on my chest and be worn. Also, in response to another reviewer, there is nothing to beware of. The Beco Butterfly II is not supposed to be worn with baby facing out. It#039s not even good for a baby#039s back to face forward and it is overstimulating for long periods of time. A great baby carrier. Easy on the back and will make you baby happy!

Comfortable a little difficult to figure out at first. I bought this for my infant daughter after struggling with trying to figure out how to use a Moby. My hubby and I like it pretty well. It took me a while to figure it out, but after a few tries, it is easy. We plan on using it more when she is bigger.

Very comfortable!. I#039m using my Beco carrier since the day that it arrived (2 weeks ago), so far it is comfortable for my 6 months old baby and for me, he likes to see what is going on around when I#039m carrying him on the front, I didn#039t try yet carry him on the back but sure that I#039ll do soon. I use it when I#039m going to shopping and when I walk around my neighborhood and I don#039t feel any pain on the back. After see the instructions that come in the Cd I figure how to use it I recommend that you watch the videos before to use it.

I like it- but baby does not. I love the idea of this wrap but my son spits up every time I use it. If I loosen it, he#039s not secure enough. For me and my son, a waste of money.

Can#039t live without Moby!!. I#039ve had a Moby wrap since my daughter was born in Dec. of #03909. She was a very tiny baby and I loved that I could put her in it all snuggled up just like she used to be when I was still pregnant with her. Since then, I#039ve carried her in it to the store, the mall, the Zoo, brother#039s t-ball games, Easter Egg hunts, you name it. She was being a fussy pants yesterday so I just put her in it and she was instantly calm. At almost 14 lbs, she#039s not that heavy, but carry her around for a while and your back will feel it! Not with the Moby. The weight is disributed so evenly you really feel so comfy carrying a baby around. There are so many holds. I#039ve used almost all of them including the breastfeeding hold! I haven#039t used any of the holds for back carrying yet because she#039s not quite ready. I just used the sling carry yesterday at WalMart and loved how easy it was to get her in and out for a quick run in. Just put your Moby on before you leave the house and stick your baby in when you arrive at your destination. I recommend getting a neutral or dark color if you#039re gonna be out and about with it. I bought pink first And felt a little conspicuous in public. Then I bought black and I guess if I don#039t have her in it people just think it#039s some kind of new trend! I truly couldn#039t live without my Moby! It#039s a wonderful way to bond with your baby!

Not the same color. First off I give the Moby Wrap itself 5 stars - Moby#039s are amazing and with a little perseverance, you can quickly figure out how to deal with all the fabric. The only con is that it can be warm in the summer when outside. I was really excited when the Tattoo and Tattoo Noir prints came out and immediately ordered the Tattoo print. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed when it arrived as it is absolutely nowhere near the pink that is pictured. It is a much darker and more purple or mauve than the baby pink that is pictured.

This carrier is amazing!. I love this baby carrier! I researched baby carriers online before I finally decided to purchase this one. It#039s definitely the best because it is easy to use. There are so many ways to strap baby in and my baby loves it!

Does not fit well on petite moms. I have a Moby wrap, but I hate having so much fabric wrapped around my body, so I was very excited to find a "wrapless" version. I liked this product in theory, but I am 5 ft tall, 105 lbs, and this baby carrier in size S/M was way too big. The fabric stretches so when I put my baby in it, it would sag and there wasn#039t enough support to hold her. In fact, it seemed quite dangerous. I imagine it#039s great if you are a bigger mom, but it definitely did not work on my small frame!

Very Versitile. Good sling without having to figure out how to tie it. Use the size chart. The M/L is really for M only, it is too short for L. Very comfortable.

So Easy!. I love this baby wrap! My daughter is now 8 months old and I#039ve used this for her since birth. We#039ve used it in three positions so far, cradle, facing in and facing out. It#039s lightweight, comfortable, quick and easy. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product at all. My daughter is always happy in this carrier.

Must Have. I have tried many slings and wraps and this is the best! I love it so much I have it in 3 colors and have even bought two for shower gifts. I have a sensitive baby and without this I wouldn#039t get anything done during the day. It is so easy to put on and it goes on quickly. I even use it to nurse my reflux newborn. She will be in the hug position feeding then will fall asleep and stay asleep because she is upright. Throw a nursing cover over her and I can go anywhere. To top it off it fits inmy diaper bag unlike the moby that I needed to have an extra bag just to bring along.

Best thing since candy.. I received this by mail in less than a week,that is fast. After I open the package and tried it on I could not believe how nice it fit after putting my 3mo old son in it, now he cried but he got use to it within a few minutes.So I GIVE THIS PRODUCT A FIVE STAR it is really great.

Mei Tai vs. other carriers. I am a mother of 3 and have gone tried many different types of baby carriers, and this is by far my favorite one. To be fair, I did not buy from Amazon, but directly from BabyHawk. Their website is awesome I was able to design my own. If you don#039t mind waiting a little longer, its the way to go.

I have used, the ring sling, the Baby Bjorn, the pouch sling, to name a few, but the Mei Tai is by far my favorite. My first child LOVED to be in a carrier, but the ring sling started to really hurt my back once she was a few months old. I couldn#039t carrier her in it for more than half an hour or so. My second child HATED all carriers - but I hadn#039t tried the Mei Tai - I bought a pouch sling (Hotsling) which he screamed whenever I put him in. So we tried a Baby Bjorn, which he liked for a week, then screamed. With my third, I decided to wait try out all those above. The Ring Sling was too bulky to take anywhere (its a padded style). The Baby Bjorn was just plain hard to put on. The pouch sling he outgrew in a few weeks (or maybe we outgrew together - I am 5#03910 and the Hotslings are NOT adjustable).

I researched carriers read many reviews before deciding on BabyHawk Mei Tais. IMO the pros cons are as follows:

PROS
ADJUSTABLE: Unlike the pouch sling the design of the sling allows for growth of the child variance in size of the wearer - one size really does fit all
MULTIPOSITIONAL: Unlike the Baby Bjorn - and the pouch sling to an extent - the Mei Tai can be worn many different ways - front, back, different ways to tie. There is a way that will feel best for you.
STYLE: If you decide to design your own - you have hundreds of options to suit your style - This can be a fashion statement as well as a baby carrier
SIZE: This can be folded down to a small carrying pouch (included) that can be tucked into a diaper bag or stroller. Not much larger than a folded Hotsling.
EASE OF USE: The first couple times are tricky - but after 3 times, I can put in a cranky screaming baby put down a quiet sleeping baby no problem - much easier than the Baby Bjorn IMO.
WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION: I have big babies - my six week old is 14 pounds - this carrier distributes weight better than the other 3 types IMO.
HANDS FREE: Unlike the pouch sling or ring sling, you can free up both hands with this carrier. So you can puch a shopping cart hold onto a toddler at the same time. Or maybe hold your baby eat

CONS:
EXPENSIVE: The Mei Tai is more expensive (relatively) than a ring sling or pouch sling. You can spend extra if you design your own add pockets toy rings. I find the expense worth it.
EASE OF USE: I put this in the CON category as well because the first few times are difficult - practice at home in front of a mirror. Also because the ties are so long, I would not want to put this on standing in dirt, or someplace with dirty floors. The straps will drag - there is no way around this.
REPOSITIONING: You will need to check your baby positioning of the straps every so often. As our weight shifts, I usually adjust mine about 30 minutes after putting it on. Its like your favorite pair of jeans - they loosen up some minutes after putting them on right out of the wash.

SUMMARY: I found this Mei Tai to be very versatile, simple to use, stylish. It distributes weight nicely is small enough to pack around. I would highly reccommend this to anyone with a baby that likes to be held a lot.

UPDATE: I have owned this carrier for over a month and I use it EVERYDAY. My infant HATES his infant carrier unless its in the car and we are moving - so I put him in the Mei Tai for all trips out of the house - the mall, the grocery store, my older child#039s school. I have mastered the art of putting it on in the parking lot - I just stand in front of the van door, and carefully drape the long ties in the van before securing my baby. This leaves my hands free for my toddler/shoppin cart/latte. I also wear this at home at least once a day. My son is 2 months old and 15 pounds - I can handle about 2 hours at a time - even my husband is starting to wear this now after seeing how much our baby enjoys being in it. I get compliments on this all the time, and all my expecting friends want to borrow it. We love it!

Excellent tray. You will need two.. This tray fits onto the belly bar very securely and the cup holder is centered, deep enough to be secure, and large enough to fit pretty big cups into. My son was so excited about the addition of the tray that he kept putting his cup in and out for our entire first walk with it attached. I only ordered one because I just wasn#039t sure if I needed one or two based on the product description. This is just for one side of the double stroller. If you want one for both children you will need to order two. I#039ll be ordering a second one tonight.

Does the trick.. Although the whole belly bar and tray ensemble is not perfect, it#039s a great addition to our stroller. The bar is a little hard for my little ones to reach and the trays only anchor on one side if you#039re using two for a double stroller. Other than that though, they get the job done!

Doesn#039t really do the job.. I purchased the adjustable belly bar and one child tray for my double City Classic. It attaches easily and the tray is secure, but it just isn#039t positioned properly to be of any use. It#039s way too high and because the stroller seat does not sit fully upright it#039s just awkward. I wouldn#039t recommend it unless Baby Jogger redesigns it. Another complaint I have is that the tray does not work interchangeably with the single strollers from Baby Jogger.

It#039s nice. I like the deep cup holder and that it can move with the adjustable belly bar.

Could have been made better. If you were only planning on using one tray at a time they would be ok but putting them together doesn#039t work at all. There isn#039t enough room on the bar and the tray tilts so bad that the food rolls to the side and makes it spill all over. If the bar isn#039t down all the way the trays sit up so high that the child can barely see over them. It#039s just not made very well, for the amount of the stroller and the accessories the product should have been made to fit better.

Busy Mom, grateful for the small things.... It#039s worth it. Baby will suck on them. I#039d rather throught the sucking pad in the wash than the entire carrier!

ERGO Sucking Pad Pair Mocha. i didn#039t really know what the purpose of the sucking pad, but as soon as i got the Ergo carrier, i noticed that i needed this. it keeps clean for both Ergo and my babyWorth the money!

So much healthier than the ERGO straps -). OK, it#039s not like sucking on these are good for a baby or anything, but there is so much wear and tear on the Ergo straps that I would cringe every time my little guy sucked on them - pretty much every time. And there is just no way to wash the carrier every day, nor do I like to dry it. With two pairs of the sucking pads I can wash one pair every other day and feel confident about my baby putting his mouth on them.
I try to take them off each time I take off the carrier and keep them in the front pouch, that way they stay clean while the ergo is being stored.

Must Have for Ergo. I#039ve been using the Ergo with my son since he was just a few weeks old and we both love it. Once he turned around 4 months old and started putting everything he could get into his mouth in his mouth I got these sucking pads. Maclaren could not figure out that how to make back side of carrier.
I don#039t know, my baby was compatable with this product. but my wife got pain on her neck.

Used it more than I thought I would. I used this carrier type (not exactly the same pattern) until my kid was the limit 25 pounds- for my little baby that was around 18 months. I loved that she faced in when she was very small so strangers didn#039t touch her or get in her face, and I liked how easy it was to get her out without waking her up, as opposed to a sling.

I felt less back strain and shoulder pain in a carrier like this, as opposed to a one shoulder sling.

Quick and timely. The Maya Wrap came quick and on time. The owner was very helpful and nice about the order even the exchange for the correct color.

NewMomEBF. Definitely a beautiful piece of fabric. However, big learning curve. I will wait until I can do the hip carry.

Need PhD for this wrap. Although video is provided, this wrap is a challenge to pull together. Excellent quality. If I have another child, I#039d try it again and practice. Bought it for nursing and didn#039t master the wrap for nursing, too bad cause it looks discrete for nursing.

Not for me.... The idea of it was great and i see alot of woman around the city wearing these, but i prefer the bjorn. It was complicated and all the material kept getting twisted in the rings.

Love it!!. I never leave reviews on products, but upon using the Maya Wrap, I loved it so much I had to share. We have tried several baby carriers. We love the Ergo for long walks and housework, but it#039s too bulky to travel with. The Moby was way to stretchy and complicated, and the Balboa could have been great, but my daughter kept sinking into the deep pouch. The Maya Wrap is just a great sling. The fabric is breathable, the pouch is adjustable to fit all different sizes of babies,and it#039s super comfy for both mom and baby. I still love my Ergo for long walks and heavier activity, but my Maya Wrap is spectacular for short trips and leisurely activity. Plus, it folds up small enough to fit nicely into a diaper bag or purse. I absolutely love the comfort and ease of use. I will be buying an few more of these for myself and friends!!!
